The Guitar ONE is an All in 1 cleaner, polish and wax for everyday cleaning. The Guitar Polish is for deeper cleaning and polishing to restore and revive dull, hazy, scratched and scuffed finishes. It also removes oxidation from guitar hardware. Our Fretboard F-ONE Oil helps clean & condition the fretboard. We include 2 premium quality microfiber towels. CAUTION: We always recommend to use caution on gold plating and either test a small area first and rub very lightly. If you love your gold plating and not sure then we recommend not using this product. See FAQs for more details on this.
What finishes is Guitar ONE safe on?
Because it has a polish and wax it will shine up your instrument finish amazing. Thus we recommend using on gloss finishes and semi-gloss finishes only. Do not use on Matte finishes unless you want a shine. Also see below on gummy/soft nitro finishes.
Is Guitar ONE safe on Nitro finishes?
It is safe if the Nitro finish is hard and not soft with any buildup. If it has buildup do not use any spray type product as it may mix in with the buildup and cloud it up. For soft and cloudy nitro use our Guitar Pro Strength polish.
Will Guitar ONE clean my hardware and remove oxidation on my hardware?
It will do great for general cleaning on the hardware but no it will not work for oxidation removal, which needs a bit more abrasives. We have other products that address hardware oxidation such as Pro Strength Guitar Polish.
What is the difference between the Guitar ONE (MN103) and the Guitar Polish (MN101), and which should I use?
The Guitar ONE (MN103) is an all-in-one cleaner, polish and wax. It is the perfect product for regular maintenance on a gloss finish, and it works well on Nitro and Poly finishes, leaving a mirror like shine.
The Guitar Polish (MN101) is a paste polish for a deeper clean on gloss finish guitars. You can also use the Guitar Polish for your hardware to remove oxidation (please use caution on gold-plated hardware).
Should I clean my strings and unfinished fretboard with Guitar ONE?
No we have other products for String Cleaning (String Fuel) and unfinished fretboards (F-ONE Oil)
How often should I use Guitar ONE?
If you play every day then once a week is great. If you play 1 to 2 times a week then once a month is great.
My Guitar ONE bottle sprayer is not working.
Make sure you always shake before using as this product does contain small particles of polish and wax that can clog up sprayers. To remove the clog we recommend running hot water through it while using the pump to free up what is stuck. If that does not work, shoot us an email at info@musicnomad.com and we will send you a replacement sprayer.
Is the Guitar ONE formulation Vegan?
Yes.
I see a date on the bottle is that the expiration date?
No that is the date that we filled the bottle.
What is the shelf life for Guitar ONE?
Each bottle has a date marked on when we filled it. If stored at room temperature the shelf life should be 3 years, but for sure can last longer. Always shake the bottle well before using it. If it ever smells rancid it may have gone bad.
Can I recycle my bottle?
Yes, our bottles are made out of PET, the most environmentally friendly plastic. PET is what water bottles are made of.
Is this safe for Gold Hardware?
Due to all the different gold plating standards and quality levels, we cannot guarantee the Guitar Polish will not remove the gold plating. We have found that gold plating from Korea, China, and Indonesia is very thin and can be polished off easily. We always recommend to use caution on gold plating and either test a small area first and rub very lightly. If you love your gold plating and not sure then we recommend not using this product. We have found the plating on USA, Germany and Japan hardware makers to be higher quality and have used the Guitar Polish successfully on hardware from these countries.

Is this safe on Gold Plated Bigsby?
They use a very thin gold plating process and it’s done in Korea. Our Pro Strength Guitar Polish can remove the plating and do not recommend using it.
My finished maple fretboard is dirty and grimy, can Guitar Polish help remove that?
Yes, since Guitar Polish has abrasives it is very effective at helping polish out fretboard finishes that are soiled with dirt and grime.
What finishes is Guitar Polish safe on?
This is a polish so it should be used on gloss finishes such as nitrocellulose and polyurethane. It can also be used on Guitar Hardware (tuning pegs, pickup covers, bridge) such as nickel, stainless steel and chrome but see the question about gold hardware on this page.
How do I use the Guitar Polish product?
Clean the surface you want to polish first with a MusicNomad Cloth, Nomad Tool or our Guitar Detailer so the surface is clean. It is not the liquid that scratches the finishes it’s the dust.
Does the Guitar Polish product remove cloudy finishes where my arm rests?
Yes, it has been successfully used a lot for this application. Some have called it a miracle worker for cloudy nitro finishes. You may need several applications and some elbow grease to reduce them.
Does the Guitar Polish product remove scratches?
Yes, It can help polish out slight scratches. You may need several applications and some elbow grease. If the scratches are deep it may not be possible to remove them completely. Another option is to use our Guitar ONE or Guitar Wax after using the Guitar Polish, as wax helps fill in the scratches and reduce them.
How much Guitar Polish should I use when applying?
A little goes a long way. You just need 3 to 4 peanut size drops for each side of the guitar. Don’t overuse or will just be pushing around the paste polish. Work in sections, let it dry and haze and then buff off with a clean part of the cloth.
The Guitar Polish is a little thick; can I add water to it to make it less thick?
To thin it out you can add a small amount of water (distilled water recommended) and shake well.
Is the Guitar Polish formulation Vegan?
Yes.
I see a date on the bottle is that the expiration date?

I have allergies to peanuts and other nuts, does F-ONE Oil contain nuts in the formula?
F-ONE Oil contains no nuts in our formula. We use a third party to make and bottle our F-ONE Oil Formula and can not guarantee that they are nut free facility so if you are extremely allergic to nuts we recommend you do not use F-ONE Oil.
What type of unfinished fretboard wood is F-ONE safe on?
We have yet to hear of one unfinished fretboard it does not work amazing on, even maple. For a more detailed list view our product advisor in the menu and many unfinished woods it has worked on is listed.
How often should I use F-ONE?
The great thing about our petroleum free, lemon oil free, natural oil formulation we have, is it conditions for months. Lemon oil is petroleum based so it looks great for a few days and then starts to dry out the wood. If you play every day then use F-ONE every 4 to 6 months. If you play just 1 to 2 times a week, use every 6-9 months. Also, if your guitar is exposed to low humidity conditions you may need to do more often.
Will F-ONE work on all unfinished instrument wood besides my fretboard?
Works great for unfinished wood bridges and tuning pegs.
Does F-ONE contain any petroleum, lemon oil or silicone?
No
My guitar body and back of the neck seem to be unfinished wood, will F-ONE work on them?
Often Matte finishes look unfinished but there is a seal in them that is hard to see. A seal of any kind over or in the wood will just block F-ONE from penetrating it and would not recommend it.
The body of my guitar and back of the neck is for sure unfinished wood. Will F-ONE work on them?
Yes it will. Remember a little goes a long way with our oil and you don’t want the back of the neck feeling oily. Don’t overuse.
Is your F-ONE formulation Vegan?
Yes
I see a date on the bottle, is that the expiration date?
No that is the date that we filled the bottle.
What is the shelf life for this bottle?
Each bottle has a date marked on when we filled it. If stored at room temperature the shelf life should be 3 years, but for sure can last longer. Always shake the bottle well before using. If it ever smells bad it may have gone bad. This is a natural product so if not stored at room temperature or if bacteria gets in it, it can go rancid. This is very rare and we will replace it at no charge if you bought it within 3 years of the date on the product, email us at info@musicnomad.com and give us the details.
MusicNomad was awarded NAMM’s Prestigious Best in Show Award for Best Accessories and Add-on in Jan 2013. Panelist Donovan Bankhead had this to say about us.
This is a top-quality product with nice margins for retailers. It is light years better than anything you have on your showroom floor right now.

A Musician in Switzerland emailed:
I am the proud owner of a Gibson ES-175 Semi-Acoustic. I bought not long ago the cleaning set from another brand. When using the other brand product, it left a film on my ES-175 and all the rubbing and polishing in the world would not take away that film or fog on the otherwise almost mirror-like surface of that guitar. Today, I bought your 5-piece Care Pak and I started using “The guitar ONE” All I can say is that I am overwhelmed with the result and so is my guitar. It is absolutely perfect and it does not leave behind the film/fog like the other brand did. Well done, MusicNomad Team, for having created a superior guitar care product. I can recommend it to all my other friends who own guitars.
Shawn, owner of the guitar maker Steen Guitars (Walnut Creek, CA) had this to say about our products:
They are the best products I have found to clean and restore all types of finishes
Scott Detwieler, a musician emailed us about his F-ONE Oil experience:
The MusicNomad F-ONE Oil is better THAN ANYTHING ELSE I HAVE TRIED for a variety of reasons.
1) after it dries, the fingerboard does not look and feel dried out.
2) the thick consistency of the oil means that I can drop it on the neck without it running down the sides of the guitar and onto my pants.
3) the applicator tip makes it easy to precisely apply the oil accurately without mess or waste.
4) believe it or not, the shape of the bottle makes it easy to grab the bottle and apply it without worrying about the angle or side of the applicator. OTHER PRODUCTS COME IN A flat bottle with a “lotion-like” top/applicator. You press on the round top and a spout/hole opens up on ONE side of the bottle. If you grab it wrong, you have to put it down and grip it from the other side. When working on guitars, one hand is usually engaged in holding and stabilizing the guitar while the other hand reaches for tools, etc. The bottle/applicator of F-ONE Oil is a really great feature of the product.
5) it takes very little of the product to obtain the desired effect I am enjoying the product and will be using it exclusively on all of my guitars.

Kala Ukulele, the internationally known Ukulele manufacturer, said
We use MusicNomad’s Guitar One polish every day, all day here at the Kala workshop for ukuleles and basses. Guitar ONE is a great way to add the final touch to an instrument if you want it to have the professional look. It also adds a soft, glassy feel to the instrument, especially on gloss finishes. It works great for prepping a finish for quick passes on the buffing wheel and does wonders for satin finishes. Great work, MusicNomad!
An enthusiastic user that emailed us after the first time he used our Guitar One
Wow!!!!!! My name is Jesse Slater and I am a faithful customer of David and the guys at Morrison Brothers in Mississippi. Dave told me about (The Guitar One) and all I could say was WOW after trying it and seeing for my self what it did for my Black Beauty. I was sold on the other polish we will not call names (form. 65) but now, well I haven’t had anything this good since black gold you know Texas T. I just wish the guys at Morrison Brothers would take back the unused other stuff. Thanks again MusicNomad and Morrison Brothers you guys put the shine back in my eyes.
Justin Stabler Gutair Tech for Hall & Oates, Ms. Lauryn Hill and others had this to say about our Guitar ONE:
My first impression was shocking! The ONE polish lifted dirt and grim off the guitars that I didn’t even realize was there (mind you, I clean these guitars daily!!!). The second thing I immediately noticed was that there was little to no streaking or smudge marks after wiping the guitar down. By the end of the tour, I wasn’t trying to move the guitars around under the light to see if I missed a spot, it saved me a lot of time. Which is important when dealing with a lot of guitars!
Bill S. emailed us about our Pro Strength Guitar Polish:
Holy Smokes! I just used your Guitar Polish on a pawn shop find. Outrageous is the only word I can come up with to describe what your product has done to the dull neglected finish. MusicNomad is my new go-to for guitar care.
@Enrique0166 commented on IG about our Guitar ONE
So I never thought that I could completely get rid of my sweat from my guitar necks but after one application of the ONE, all of my guitar necks feel brand new!!! And I’ve been using competitors stuff for year and nothing worked!
Matt Kennedy, Guitar Tech for Morgan Wallen, emailed us about our Guitar ONE:
Whatever you guys put in “The One” polish is magic! I spray the neck of Morgan and Tyler’s guitars with that before every single guitar change during a show.
