Wolf has basically been a tech since he first started playing bass over 35 years ago. Of his journey to becoming a tech, he says, “It seemed stupid to pay someone else to change my strings & set up my instrument, so I decided I should learn how to do all that myself.” After a few questions at the local guitar shop, it was off to the races & Wolf hasn’t looked back since. “I’ve always enjoyed figuring things out myself, and also learning from & sharing with other folks. It’s a big part of what makes this crazy life so fun & interesting.”

Upon joining the Jake Owen camp in the spring of 2019, Mike immediately acquired his nickname of Wolfman as well as his introduction to MusicNomad products. “I loved them right away. Like Coyote, I also probably have at least one of everything they make. Plus, all their cleaners, polishes & other liquid products smell amazing, haha!”

When not on the road with Jake working “The best job ever”, Wolf enjoys spending time making music, hanging out with friends & his lady, and hiking. “You’ve got to have balance in this life. It’s important to work & make money, but it’s also important to build a life that’s enjoyable & that you can share with other people.”
