Michael Petritsch (Petrol) started off in the industry playing in touring bands and working at Deluxe Guitars, a backline company in Melbourne in the mid 2010s. Once shows started to come back post-Covid, he decided to focus on becoming a full-time touring guitar tech instead, and has been on the road consistently ever since. His main work is in the heavy music scene touring as a Guitar/Playback/Monitor Tech with the Australian band Northlane as his primary artist, but he also greatly enjoys working for anyone and everyone he can whenever there are gaps in his touring schedule. When not on the road, he finds it incredibly difficult to keep his hands off guitars for long, and thrives on doing repair/mod/refurbishment work for both for customers and his own instruments in the spare time.
