Born and raised in Paris, France, with dual citizenship, Julien picked up the electric guitar at 12, and from that moment, he knew it was his life. By 18, he was behind the scenes as stage crew at music festivals in France, Switzerland, and the US. At 22, he hit the road with Jimmie Vaughan, handling backline and merch — and he’s been touring nonstop ever since. When he wasn’t on tour, he was working gigs at venues and with production companies in LA, Austin and Paris. In 2015, Julien toured with Mali’s Songhoy Blues, that trip led him to fall in love with New Orleans. Now he’s called the Big Easy home for over a decade, living and breathing the guitar life every day.
